Welcome to the Peshawar School for Peace

Our vision is to promote peace and harmony in Pakistan by focusing on quality education, interfaith harmony and girls’ empowerment.

Pakistan ranks 146th on the UN Human Development Index, and in the region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), just 35% of girls are literate. Extreme violence is also common. This must change.

Since March 2015, dozens of students have already received a quality education, forty women graduated from our Digital Inclusion ICT Training Program and more have participated in our annual Women’s Excellence Month initiatives. Out of a situation of hardship, a global youth-led movement for peace was born and we hope to continue our growth.

This initiative also represents an extraordinary gesture of kindness and friendship between the people of Australia and Pakistan. Many students across Australia have connected with the School in Peshawar.

Together, let’s nurture and empower Peshawar’s youth and build a common humanity. We deeply appreciate your love and support.
