The word Dosti is Urdu for friendship.
An effective way to promote a common humanity is to build links of amity between people in different parts of the world.
Children in Peshawar rarely get the chance to interact with other young people from around the world.
The Dosti Postcards initiative is a way that Australians can send a kind message to children at the Peshawar School for Peace.
For the children themselves, receiving such a message will be a beautiful experience and will help to build confidence and happiness within them.
The School’s address is pre-printed, so it’s as easy as writing the message, putting a stamp on it then posting it!
In time, we hope to have many friendships formed between the young people of Australia and Pakistan.
Any schools, organisations or community organisations that would like to participate are welcome to contact francis [at] peshawarschoolforpeace.org
